What was this event about?

This was the first ever National Portfolio Careers event for GPs. 
 
We set this up to showcase the opportunities for an exciting and diverse GP career. 
 
Our 20+ amazing speakers with diverse Portfolio careers shared their journey with everyone presenting in workshops. Our delegates had the opportunity to network with our speakers and learn from their successes and failures. 
 
From the Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners to TV doctors to specialist interest GPs and appraisers. 
 
Our speakers also joined us for our evening drinks which gave everyone the chance to ask questions about how to design your dream career and inspire the next generation of Portfolio GPs.

Professor Helen Jayne Stokes-Lampard

Helen is Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), the UK’s largest medical Royal College representing over 52,000 family doctors across the UK.  The Chair shapes policy and leads the strategy of the College, working with politicians, policymakers and the media to ensure that the ‘voice’ of general practice and GPs is understood and represented.
