Contraception Refresher and Update (1)

We will begin with a short meditation and 'Healthy Mind Hacks' by Lucile Allen-Paisant, founder of Mind It and Leeds Wellbeing Week.

The main focus of the evening will be to provide the busy GP with a refresher in Contraception. Dr Farah Chaudhry, our Guest Speaker, will take us through an update in Contraception with key tips for GPs in managing patients. Farah is a Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Clinical Lead for Contraception and Locala Sexual Health.

Dr Farah Chaudhry

Farah returned home to Yorkshire having studied in Cambridge and completing my training in London. She worked as a GP in Leeds for 10 years with an interest in Women’s Health which subsequently evolved into a full-time career in SRH. She has led a varied career and spent last year working as Consultant SRH at Salford Royal. Farah now works in Yorkshire full-time for Bradford & Kirklees Sexual Health services as Contraceptive Lead and BPAS Leeds.

She has maintained an interest and passion for training and development. She is a Joint Faculty Regional Training Advisor for Yorkshire & Humber for the FSRH, General Training Programme Director, MFSRH Examiner and SAS Tutor.

Farah is a busy parent to 3 lovely daughters who are a constant reminder of the important things in life.

This meeting is open to GP Partners, Locum GPs, Salaried GPs and Nurse practitioners working in West Yorkshire. When completing the registration form, please indicate your practice. Locums should use one of the practices they work at.
