This course gives another tool that is not taught about enough in medical training:
evidence-based lifestyle interventions and how to implement personalised care
COMPETENCY IN:
Introducing the concept of Lifestyle Medicine and why we need it
Understanding how this ties in with Personalised Care, the NHS Long Term Plan, Personalised Care, Preventative Medicine and Proactive Medicine
Lifestyle Medicine concepts introduced:
Stress, sleep, physical activity, social connection and healthy relationships, avoiding toxins. planetary health, nutrition, life purpose, motivational interviewing techniques
