This is an ONE OFF EVENT with limited numbers of delegates, to enhance your networking experience. We have sourced amazing speakers and knowledgeable exhibitors who will be in one place on one day to talk to you. 

 

We  have 20 amazing speakers with diverse portfolio careers, sharing their journey with you so you can learn from their successes and failures and have the chance to ask the questions you want to know. 

 

Our guest speakers will give you short TED-style talks on their career paths with your chance to ask questions, be inspired and learn from them. There will be a chance to have a mini date or 1-1 chat with our speakers too in smaller numbers to ask those questions relevant to you. We will also have a session on "Finance Top Tips". 

 

We have sourced a lovely modern venue and in line with our wellbeing mission, we will provide a nutritious lunch and snacks.

Professor Helen Jayne Stokes-Lampard PhD FRCGP

Keynote Speaker

Helen is Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), the UK’s largest medical Royal College representing over 52,000 family doctors across the UK.  The Chair shapes policy and leads the strategy of the College, working with politicians, policymakers and the media to ensure that the ‘voice’ of general practice and GPs is understood and represented.

Prior to training as a GP, Helen worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and this helped shape her clinical and academic aspirations. Her diverse research interests have spanned many aspects of women's health, including gynaecological cancer screening, epidemiology and data linkage studies.  

She was Head of Primary Care Teaching (undergraduate) at Birmingham University’s School of Medicine until September 2016. Until 2012, She was Clinical Director of the accredited Primary Care Trials Unit at Birmingham.  She was also Head of the Academic GP Trainees programme at Birmingham. She ran an MSc module in Community Gynaecology and taught communication skills and ethics.

She was also a personal mentor for doctors in difficulty until 2016. 

We are delighted she will be opening our Conference; bringing enthusiasm, dynamism, and personal experience of an exciting and diverse career.

Dr Aman Arora​​

Dr Rasha Gadelrab

Dr Matt Noble

Matt was one of the first GPs to join babylon and has extensive experience in digital consulting. He believes passionately in the role of the GP as the expert generalist and his particular interest is in using technology in all its forms to help GPs to practice safely and sustainably. 

Simon Cross

Originally from the UK, Simon commenced working at Australian industry leading healthcare provider Primary Health Care Australia. In 2017 he was appointed Chief Relationship Officer and the Barefoot GP Program Executive.
